Paynesville jumped out to an early lead and main- tained their lead the entire first half, finishing the first period with a 23-19 lead. The Cubs kept it close and with just under 10 minutes to play, took their first lead of the game at 31-29 and extended their lead to 35-30. Kimball's 7-17 shooting from the flee-throw line and 25 turnovers were too much to overcome, despite many bright spots for the Cubs.
