Mystery writer William Kent Krueger will be at the library for book signing and the debut of the 12th book in a series "Trick- ster's Point," on the New York Times Bestseller List. This Grand Opening is free to the public at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10. There will be a ribbon-cut- ting ceremony and also refresh- ments served. Eden Valley fundraiser Feb. 16 The Eden Valley Healthy Com- munities Group is holding a fun- draiser Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Event Center/Library building, located at 306 State St. N. They are currently selling raffle tickets at $10 each and the raffle drawing will be at 10 p.m. on Feb. 16. First prize is a 55-inch flat screen TV, second prize is an iPad, third prize is a Kindle Fire HD, fourth prize is $250 cash, fifth through eighth prizes are $100 Valley bucks, ninth through 10th prizes are $50 Valley bucks. Raffle tickets are available at Eden Valley City Hall, Lost & Found, Eden Valley Area Library, or from Group members. From 7 p.m. to midnight, they will have refreshments and food. The ValIey Inn is catering the alco- hol sales and they will be selling pulled pork sandwiches, beans, chips, nachos & cheese, pop & water. There will be a dance with Eden vallff-00atktns Feb. 4-8 Please call at least one day in advance. Meals may be picked up. Monday-Cranberry-glazed chicken, baked potato, Califor- nia-blend vegetables, bread/ margarine, fruit cocktail, milk. Tuesday-Hamburger-tomato casserole, green beans, Manda- rin-orange whip, bread/marga- rine, cookie, milk. Wednesday-Vegetable-beef soup, turkey sandwich, pineapple, crackers/margarine, bar, milk. Thursday-Pork loin, brown rice, cole slaw, mixed vegetables, dinner roll/margarine, raspberry parfait dessert, milk. Friday-Salisbury steak, parslied whole potatoes, squash, bread/margarine, blushing pears, Kimball senior DintnLq Feb. 4-8 Monday: Hamburger on a bun, baked beans, coleslaw, ice cream. Tuesday: Specials of the day. Wednesday-Pie Day: Meatloaf scalloped potatoes, squash, wheat bread, cherry-apple pie. Thursday: Parmesan chicken breast, baked potato w/sour cream, stewed tomatoes, wheat bread, frosted cake. Friday: Roast beef w/horserad- ish, whipped potatoes w/gravy, broccoli Normandy, dinner roll, sunshine salad. Euchre anytime there are enough players 1% milk is served with every meal. Both sites serve at 11:30 a.m. Mon- day through Friday. This service is through Lutheran Social Service, funded in part by a contract from the Area Agency on Aging with funding from the Federal Older Americans Act through the Min- nesota Board on Aging. Metlu sons 60+ and volunteers is $3.50, or what you can afford. Guests under 60 pay $7. REMINDER: When there is a choice of entree on the menu, you will receive the first one listed UNLESS you notify us. The cof- fee pot is on by 11:15 a.m. every Wednesday. Watkins Senior Citizens Valentine Party Feb. 14 Watkins Senior Citizens will be having their Valentine's Day Party at the St. Anthony manor Thurs- day, Feb. 14. Social time will be at 11 a.m. Roast turkey dinner will be served at 11:30 a.m. Cost for the dinner is $4 for members and $5 for non-members. They will be crowning a king and queen at that time.
