The annual 3-point shot contest was won by Scott Marquardt, as he made 8 out of 10 3-pointers to defeat Chris Pramann in the final round of the competition; Con- gratulations and thank you s to all those who participated and helped out to make this year's tourna- ment another big success! Mem- bers of the Champion 2006-2007 team are: Jeff Hunt, Devin Rose- now, Kevin Sommers, Dan Stein, Keith Masberg, Matt Dingmann, Jason Tenny, and Adam'Magnu- son. By leremy Kuechle The 2006-2007 Kimball Alumni Squad went 4-0 in the ninth annual tournament defeating the 2004- 2005 team in the championship game. This is the third straight Alumni Tournament champion- ship for the 2006-07 team, becom- ing the first team in tournament history to be crowned three times. The third-place game was a battle between team 2000 and team.2001- 2002, with team 2000 claiming the third-place prize. The consola- tion champions were the mem- bers of the 2003-2005 team, as they By lay Klein, Coach The second- and third-grade Junior Cubs just completed a five- week basketball program. During the five weeks, the players learned different basketball fundamentals, such as ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork, among others. The Junior Cubs performed at halftime of the boys' varsity game against Pierz Friday, Feb. 19. Coach Kuechle and Coach Klein would like to thank all the Jr. Cubs .for their hard work during the pro- gram and their parents for allow- ing them to be a part of Junior Cubs. The coaches would also like to thank all of the girls' and boys' basketball players who helped with the program.
