hursda00, 00obrua00 00009 Community Tri-County News Kimball, MN Pothole repair planned for area roads With the recent warm day- time weather and freezing tem- peratures at night, area residents are seeing an increase in pot- holes on central Minnesota road- ways. As a result, beginning at 8 a.m., Mondays through Fridays, motorists may encounter Minne- sot a Department of Transporta- tion crews repairing potholes on any local roadway. Work is scheduled for the fol- lowing roadways: Highway 10, from Becker to Elk River, eastbound and west- bound lanes, as needed, begin- ning Thurs., Feb. 19. Work should be completed by early March. Highway 169, from Onamia to Milaca, northbound and south- bound lanes beginning, Thurs., Feb. 19. Work is expected to be completed by early March. Highway 23, eastbound and westbound lanes. Highway 25, north of Highway 95, northbound and southbound lanes. Pothole patching is consid- ered a moving operation. Motor- ists traveling on any local road- way when work crews are present should slow down and expect to stop, if necessary. Mn/DOT continuously mon- itors all highways and freeways for rutting, cracking, potholes and other damage. Problem areas are scheduled for repair or resurfac- ins as quickly as possible. Tuesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce or marinara sauce or coney dog on wheat, Italian salad, garlic toast, flesh pineapple, milk. Wednesday: Mrs. Klein's class favorite-walking taco & fixings or Italian turkey sandwich, cucum- ber salad, sliced wheat bread, banana, milk. Thursday: Chicken Parmesan over pasta or sloppy Joe on wheat bun, glazed carrots, sliced wheat bread, Mandarin oranges, milk. Friday: Grilled cheese, tomato soup or pork chow mein, rice & noodles, sliced wheat bread, cin- namon applesauce, milk. garlic bread, gelatin w/topping. 1% milk is served with every meal. Menu is subject to change. Suggested contribution for per- sons 60+ and volunteers is $3.25, or what you can afford. Guests under 60 pay $6.50.
