We will meet at Triple R at 10 a.m. ACT Prep Course offered at KAHS Kimball Area High School will be offering a preparation class for students taking the ACT col- lege entrance test. The class will begin Wednesday, March 30, and run for nine total days. The class will take place before school from 7-8 a.m. Students can register for the course through Kimball Community Education. The horticulture class at Kimball Area High School took a field trip to Millner's Heritage Vineyard & Winery. Don Millner presented to the students infor- mation on the care and harvest- ing of grape vines and the grapes themselves. Millner's have nine acres of grapes that include four hybrid varieties of grapes developed at the University of Minnesota. The vineyard was first planted in 2006, with the first harvest taking place in 2007. Mr. Millner also showed the Horticulture class where and how the grapes are crushed to produce juice used to make wine.
