Norma is the daughter of Kathleeen Bodeker of South Haven. Everyone welcome. Open House Bridal Shower There will be an Open House Bridal Shower in honor of Jody Ranta, bride-to-be of Kurt Weisman, at the Fair Haven Christian Church on Sunday, April 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. Everyone welcome. Open House Bridal Shower An open house bridal shower in honor of Beth Sankey, bride-to-be of James Young, will be held on Saturday, Ma3 4, at 2 p.m. at the Watkins Village Hall. Parents of the couple are Dennis and Sharon Sankey of Willmar and Deug and Leona Young of rural Watkins. 14,15 Open House Bridal Shower An open house bridal shower honoring Kelly Green, bride-to-be of Todd Detchman, will be held at Kimball United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 6, at 3 p.m. Open House Bridal Shower There will be an open house bridal shower in honor of Rene Kinney, bride-to-be of Dean Stewart, on Sunday, May 5 at 2 p.m. at Bill & Toni's Care in Kimball. Open Hmme Bridal Showers An open house bridal shower will be held in honor of Cheryl Brandt, bride-to-be of Troy Greely, on Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at the Kimball Church of Christ. Another shower in her honor will be hold at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Friday, May 17, at 8 p.m, Cheryl is the daughter of Nick and Pat Brandt of Kimball and Troy is the son of Valerie Greely of Kimball and Ron Greely of Aurora, Mn. Open House Bridal Shower An open house bridal shower will be held in honor of Kim Leither, bride-to-be of Mark Kurtz, on Sunday, May 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Pearl Lake Holy Cross School. Kim is the daughter of Dave and Elaine Leither of Kimball. Seth Anniversary Open House Harold and Dorothy Pramann, South Haven, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 5, 1991 at Holiday Inn in St. Cloud from 2 to 5 p.m. The couples' children will be hosts. Everyone welcome. Harold and Dorothy were married on March 4, 1941. NOTICE The Johnson Kelly Legion Auxiliary will meet Tuesday evening, April 30, at 7:30. Card Show The Buffalo Mickey Mantle League will be sponsoring a baseball card show Sat., April 27 from I0 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Buffalo Civic Center, Highway 55 and County Read 134. There have been over 25 tables reserved already. Ikaler tables are assigned for a $30 fee. Admission to the fundraiser is $1.50 and there will be door prizes. The City has an up-to-date wastewater treatment plant, constructed in 1984, with 94% grant money. The City has an outstanding volunteer fire department and a local police force. Operations at City Hall are computerized. The City looks forward to upgrading our drinking water system. The City Council of Kimball asks your support for the water system project as the next and necessary step in Kimball's progressive future. This fell kindergarteners to have lunch with Mr. Lagentedt on Wed., May 1 Need to sign up by April 23 ECFE invites all children going to Kindergarten in September to attend a special hour with Mr. Lagerstedt at the Kimbdll Elementary School on May 1st. The hour will begin with a bus ride from Willow Creek Park in Kimball to the elementary school. They will be greeted at the door by Mr. Lagerstedt, who will give them a tour d the elementary school. He will then have lunch wifll the chiklren. Their visit with Mr. Lagerstedt will conclude with a story in the library. 11mir final activity will be a bus ride back to Willow Creek Park, whore parents will be waiting to hear about our visit. Parents need to register their children by April 23rd. They can register by calling 764-6345. There will be a $I.00 charge per child to cover the cost of lunch. Pink finalized for 1st AMmd AN ely Garage knk, Plans have been finalized for the first annual All City Garage Sale, sponsored by the Kimball Community Club, Inc. The date of the event is May 18, 1991, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. All residents living in and around the City of Kimball are invited and encouraged to participate. If you are interested in becoming a part of this event, plan to hold your own sale or join with a neighbor. An information map will be distributed at local businesses identifying each registered location. Register at one of these locations in Kimball: One Stop Hair Shop, Kimball Hardware, and The New & Used Company of Kimball. The registration fee is $5.00. Participants will receive an official "Garage Sale" sign and banners. The fee also includes advertising in Kimball surrounding communities.
