Hundreds of items were donated for the auction to raise money for a 100th anniversary commu- nity dinner. About 100 people helped raise more than $5,000 for the church. 20 years ago Fire destroyed the unoccupied house and mobile home of Heidi Nelson near Lake Francis on April 29. South Haven and Kimball fire departments responded. 40 years ago Miss National Teen-Ager State Director Carolyn Gustafson has announced that June 18-20, 1976, the state pageant will be held in Minneapolis. Contestants must be between the ages of 13 and 17, as of the 1st of January, 1976.
