(EVW) Jamie Hanson earns second Master's degree Greg and Teri Hanson of Watkins, and Lina Conradson of St. Cloud would like to announce the graduation of their daugh- ter, Jamie Hanson, in her recent accomplishment of earning a Master's degree from the school of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in New York. The Environmental Policy and Legal Context of Sustainability degree, will further her career in the Ecology and Environmental Sciences field. Following up on this degree, Jamie has won a coveted fellowship with the Natural Resources Department in Washington State that will begin this summer. With graduation May 19, 2016, this will be her second Master's degree, the first being from St. Cloud State University with a Master of Science Ecology and Natural Resource. Her gradu- ate study at Camp Ripley in 2009- 2011 for risk analysis action pri- oritization, GIS and GPS mapping and evaluation for the removal of invasive species that was pres- ent on the 50K-acre facility. After graduating from the first Master, Jamie went on to be an Instructor of Environmental Science at St. Cloud Tech in 2011-2015. We are proud of her strong work and school ethic, especially as she has made time for world travel, both for the broadening of her career and for fun. In her world travels she has been to Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Nicaragua, Costa Rice, Russia, a fun trip with her father to Norway; and most notable, a diplomatic tour on environmentaland sus- tainability to Israel this last March.
