...................... www.tricountynews.mn Local crime One-car accident Friday Friday, May 13, at 6:02 p.m. the Steams County Sheriffs Office responded to a one-car crash near the intersection of CR 10 and 390th Street in Krain Twp. Albany PD, AlbanyFire/ Rescue, and Melrose Ambulance were dispatched to the crash as well. Upon arrival it was found that a 2010 Lincoln MKZ had left the roadway, struck a field approach, went airborne and landed in a nearby field. The vehicle sustained heavy damage to the front bumper and hood areas. The driver and lone occupant was identified as Trisha Beuning. Beuning, age 33, was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by Melrose Ambulance. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. The crash is currently under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriffs Office. Shed fire in Watkins Sunday Sunday, May 15, at 10:14 p.m., the Meeker County Sheriffs Office received a report of a shed on fire at an address in the 66300 block of Meeker Stearns Street in Forest Prairie Township. Meeker County Deputies, Watkins Fire Department, Watkins Rescue, and Eden Valley Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. The property owner, who is Virl Liebrenz, 58, discovered the fire. The shed was used as a mechanic and auto body shop. The building and numer- ous items inside were a total loss. The estimated value of the damage to the building and the contents is $250,000 to $300,000. Nobody was iniured as a result of the fire. The fire is under investigation by the Watkins Fire Department. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Watkins police report (Watkins is policed by the Stearns County Sheriffs Office.) There were 23 calls for service in Watkins during April 2016. These included 3 animal complaints, 3 suspicious persons/vehicles, 2 public assists, 2 medical calls, 2 scam/ swindle attempts, and 1 each of the following: civil complaint, custody issue, disturbance, driving complaint, juvenile trouble, ordinance violation, security/vacation check, sex crime offense, theft, and 1 traffic warning and 1 traffic citation. Wright County Sheriff's Office May 10, Andrew Ethan Wein, 25 of Clear Lake, was arrested in Maple Lake Township on a Wright County warrant for second-degree assault. May 10, Sheen ]amale Newton, 35 of Maple Lake, was arrested in Maple Lake on a MN Department of Corrections warrant for third-degree criminal sexual conduct. May 11, Joe Allen Bicondova, 20 of Cokato, was arrested in McLeod County onWright Countywarrants for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and terroristic threats. May 11, Joshua Horst Wurzbacher, 22 of Delano, was arrested in Buffalo on Wright County warrants for viola- tion of a harassment restraining order and bribery of a public employee. May 11, David Tyler Barnhart, 30 of Cokato, was arrested in Cokato on the charge of domestic assault. May 12, Ryan Tyler Eggen, 30 of Annandale, was arrested in Annandale on a Hennepin County warrant for driving after cancellation inimical to public safety. May 13, Scott Gerald Kaminski, 38 of Buffalo, was arrested in Maple Lake on a Scott County warrant for domes- tic abuse-violate order for protection. May 14, Kristopher Carl Bye, 24 of Cokato, was arrested in Cokato on the charge of DWI and a Wright county warrant for underage consumption. May 14, Charles Davis Kaiser, 39 of Rockford, was arrested in Rockford on Hennepin county warrants for family court and theft. There were 19 property-damage accidents, 2 personal-injury accidents, 2 hit-and-run accidents, and 4 car- deer accidents. There were 9 arrests for DWI, 4 underage-consumption arrests, 6 school bus stop-arm violations, and 74 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week. Meeker County Sheriff's Office Sunday, May 15, 2016 9:44 p.m. the Sheriffs Office took a report of a dog bite at a residence on Church Street in Watkins. 11:17 p.m. the Sheriffs Office responded to a report of an off-road vehicle complaint near the intersec- tion of 4th Street and Meeker Avenue in Watkins. The deputy located the ATVand driver who was advised of the complaint and given a warning. Saturday. May 14 6:49 a.m. the Sheriffs Office received a report of mailbox dam- age at a residence on 742nd Avenue, Kingston Township. 4:44 p.m. the Sheriffs Office responded to and took a report of an ATV/deer accident on 318th Street, Kingston Township. 4:58 p.m. the Sheriffs Office assisted the Kimball Police Department near the intersection of Maus Drive and MN Highway 15 in Kimball. Friday, May 13 2:35 p.m. the Sheriffs Office assisted the public at a residence on 602nd Avenue in Manannah Township. 4:08 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a civil matter at a residence on 602nd Avenue in Manannah Township. 5:10 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and took a report of a two-vehicle property damage accident near the intersection of MN Highway 15 and 240th Street, Dassel Township. The Dassel Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene for traffic control. Thursday. May 12 7:17 p.m. the Sheriffs Office received a report of an injured eagle at a residence on 305th Street in Kingston Township. The information was passed on the MN DNR. 7:21 p.m. the Sheriffs Office checked on a stalled vehicle on MN Highway 55, east of Watkins. The dep- uty spoke to the driver and everything was okay. Wednesday, May 11 9:34 a.m. a Meeker County deputy came across some loose cows on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. The owner was contacted to take care of the issue. 5:45 p.m. the Sheriffs Office dis- patched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Church Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital. 9:26 p.m. the Sheriffs Office dis- patched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Lakewood Road in Stearns County. The rescue squad and ambulance were cancelled prior to arrival. 9:54 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a domes- tic situation that occurred at a resi- dence on 602nd Avenue in Manannah Township. A report was taken. Tuesday, May 10 2:38 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Douglas Drive in Eden Valley. One individual was trans- ported to the Paynesville Hospital. 4:13 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a civil matter at a resi- dence on Church Street in Watkins. A deputy contacted the party and advised them of civil options. 7:16 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 135th Street, Kimball, Stearns County. Watkins Ambulance was canceled a short time PAGE 19 May 19, 2016 later. Monday. May 9 11:40 a.m. the Sheriffs Office responded to, dispatched Eden Valley Fire Department, Watkins Fire Department, Watkins Ambulance and contacted Steams County to dis- patch Paynesville Fire Department for a house fire at an address on Rails Avenue West in Eden Valley. There were no injuries and there was sub- stantial damage to the house. A dol- lar amount is not available at this time. 5:28 p.m. the Sheriffs Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a motor vehi- cle accident on MN Highway 15 near County State Aid Highway 21, Kingston Township. One individual was checked out at the scene and no transport was needed. 7:00 p.m. the Dassel Fire Department responded to a residence on County State Aid Highway 15, Collinwood Township, for a report of a suspicious odor.
