Summer programming begins at Kimball Public library Ice Cream Social and Book Sale - June 10 The Kimball Public Library invites people of all ages to enjoy magic, ice cream and books at the Ice Cream Social taking place in the Willow Creek Park Shelter from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 10. Sign up for the Summer Reading Program, watch a magic show, and maybe buy a book from the 4-H book sale with all proceeds bene- fiting the Kimball library. Award- winning comic magician and illu- sionist Jared Sherlock will enter- tain the audience at 2:30 p.m. His performance is funded in part with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Sunshine Storytime - June 12 Children ages 3 to 7 are invited to attend Sunshine Storytimes at the Kimball Public Library 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. beginning Wednesday, June 12. Children will enjoy stories, songs and a fun craft. Sunshine Storytimes will also take place June 26, July 10 and 24, and Aug. 7 and 21. Great River Regional Library (GRRL) provides library services at 32 public libraries in Benton, Mor- rison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd and Wright Counties. It provides Central Minnesota residents with nearly 1 million books, CDs and DVDs, 250 public computers, pro- gramming and information ser- vices. Pontoon trips: Paynesville Area Senior Center writes grants and gets donations to offer pon- toon trips for area seniors/dis- abled individuals. The pontoon trips are free. Two trips are sched- uled for June 3 and June 11. They will leave St. Anthony parking lot at 1:30 p.m. Thepontoon ride will be from 2-4 p.m. and will tour the Chain of Lakes.There is still room so sign up in the community room at St. Anthony Manor.
