Bridget Gohmann, daughter of Loren and JoAnne Gohmann of Clearwater, is a candidate to receive a bachelor of arts degree in biology. Jillian Yanish, daughter of Ron and Nancy Yanish of Watkins, is a candidate to receive a bache- lor of arts degree in communica- tion with the honor magna cum laude. Magna cum laude indicates a cumulative grade point average of 3.75. Denise DeVaan '75, senior con- sultant with ICF International, delivered the keynote address dur- ing the 98th annual commence- ment at CSB. Alivia Tison, a senior Hispanic studies major from Des Moines, Iowa, was the student commencement speaker selected by this year's senior class. During the ceremony, CSB pre- sented its President's Medal to Har- vey Jewett, a member of the CSB " Board of Trustees. CSB President MaryAnn Baenninger received honorary bachelor of arts and doc- tor of humane letters degrees from the college in recognition of her skilled leadership in higher educa- tion. The 2013 CSB graduating class includes 514 undergradu- ate women. When combined with St. John's University's 409 under- graduate men, this year's combined undergraduate graduating class totals 923.
