Schlueter heads to State Tourney Senior Austyn Schlueter came into this year's Track season with a goal of making it to State in Shotput and breaking-the school record. He broke the school record early in the season and would break his own record a few more times throughout the season. Ii) :i ;i; ?? ;;;; Express get 2 more wins over weekend By Tom Marquardt Kimball defeats St. Michael Friday, May 31 Kimball Express played and won its first exhibition game of the sea- son by defeating St Michael Saints 4 - 2 in 10 innings. Express broke open the 2 - 2 tie in the top of the 10th, when Kyle Wmter doubled to left center plating home Adam Beyer from third and Scott Mar- quardt from second which proved to be the winning runs. Andy Dingmann started on the mound and pitched well. Ding- mann took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before allowing 2 runs on 1 hit, 2 K's, 3 BB, and 1 HP. Aaron Laabs came on to pitch the seventh, eighth, and ninth innings, picking the win. Ben Johnson pitched the 10th, picking up the save. Offensively, Winter finished 1 for 5, 2B, 2 RBIs. Adam Beyer provided some offensive punch going 3 for 5, 2-2B, 1 RBI, and a solo home run in the eighth to tie the game at 2 - 2.
