Kenzie Leither hits her second homerun during the first game of the State tournament in North Mankato Thursday, June 9. The Kimball Cubs softball team, making their first appearance at the State tournament, lasted two games. The girls got a fine (and loud) send-off by the Kimball Fire Department and the whole town as they made their way to North Mankato Wednesday, May 8, for the State softball championship there.
