The purpose of this position is to minimize loss of life and property in the City of Kimball, Fairliuven Township Kingston Township and Maine Prairie Townsh p from fires, natural disasters, life-threatening situations andto assist other emergency agencies. The Kimball Fire & Rescue Department alsoprovides public fire safety education. This position is responsible for responding to fire calls, extinguishing and controlling fires as a member of a team under the supervision of a fire officer, responding to medical emergency calls, and performing rescue and first aid as needed.
