Commun Anniversaries E Kramer 25 th Steffens-Dahnke Little Miss Kimball 2010 Kimball Days 2010 will have a "Little Miss Kimball" pageant Fri- day, Aug. 13. This event is open to girls age 6-10 who live within the Kimball School District. The fee is $30. The limit is 10 girls. The first 10 applications with completed paperwork will be the contes- tants. Page Kimball Days special meeting There will be a special meet- ing at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at Kimball City Hall regarding Kim- ball Days. This is your chance for your voice to be heard. The plans for Kimball Days need your input. Please take the time to attend this meeting. An open house 25th wedding anniversary party for Flavian and Kathy Kramer will be held from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at their home at 37935 CSAH 2 in Watkins. Please come and help them cele- brate. KAHS Class of 1975 Reunion The Kimball Area High School Class of 1975 will gather for a reunion at Triple R Grill &amp; Bar (37 Maus Drive) in Kimball at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21. There are possibly many people for whom a bone marrow transplant can provide a cure for some types Of cancers. There are those people in our own community that are placing hopes on this procedure. Duane and Mary Papineau of Superior, Wis., are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daugh- ter Marissa to Justin Schmitz of Mound, son of Dennis and Janyce Schmitz of Kimball. Marissa graduated from Supe- rior Sr. High School in 1997, and in 2005 from the University of Wis- consin, Superior, with an account- ing degree. She is employed by the State of Minnesota as a senior tax specialist in St. Paul. Justin graduated in 1999 from Kimball Area High School and attended the University of Min- nesota, Duluth. He is employed by Country Financial as a finan- cial representative in Plymouth, Minn. A June 26, 2010, wedding is planned at Lake Carnelian with a reception at Generations Ball- room in Kimball.
