(See notice on page 8 for details.) Fourth of July festivities There are boat parades on area lakes, and the "big" parade in Annandale Monday, July 4, to celebrate Independence Day. Whatever you do this holiday weekend, please safe! What if the state closes down? We've been wondering here in the office what will happen July 1 if our elected officials still can't work out a budget for the state. More precisely, we wanted to know what would not happen. We've done some checking and present some helpful information for you on page 2.
