Legal Notice ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR WASTEWATER IRRIGATION LAND LEASE The City of Kimball will be accepting bids for the lease of approximately 109 acres of tillable land that is designated as irrigated wastewater disposal land. The term of the agreement will commence on 1st day of January 2014, and end on the 31st day of December 2018; for a term of 5 years. Bids are to be submitted on a form supplied by the City by 8:00 a.m. on July 26, 2013. The bid shall state a price per acre per year for the property for crop years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. The renter must plant alfalfa or another hay crop which is approved by the Kimball City Council. Irrigation of the wastewater is at the" discretion of the City of Kimball Public Works Department. The City of Kimball reserves the right to lease approx- imately 1/2 to 1 acre of land to Northern Natural Gas for an odor- izer facility which will be located outside the irrigation area of the land to be leased. The City will award the bid based on the criteria of crop selec- tion, crop management practices and bid price submitted. The suc- cessful bidder will be required to enter into a Land Lease Agreement with the CiW, which will be made available for each bidder to review.
