Page 9 Legal Notice MAINE PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP SPRAYING NOTIFICATION This is the official notification for spraying of road right of ways in areas of Maine Prairie Town- ship. This will take place immedi- ately, depending on the weather. No individual post cards will be sent. If you mow your road ditch, your land will not be sprayed. This notification also is to remind you to take care of your noxious weeds. Reports will be written up and sent to the county. The township is required by State Statute 18.78 to enforce this law. DNR to ramp-up invasive species enforcement efforts Minnesota Department of Nat- ural Resources (DNR) officials are increasing enforcement efforts against invasive species state- wide. A new law that took effect July 1 requires drain plug removal and draining of water from boats before leaving any lake or river in Minnesota. Said Ordinance prohibits addi- tions or alterations to structures located wholly or partially in a Shore Impact Zone.
