Page 7 After years of planning, and several months of construction and finishing, the congregation of St. John's Lutheran Church in Kimball is in the process of moving into their new church building, shown above. This Sunday's service will be the first to be held in this new building. An open house for the community will be held from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 15-16, and all are invited to come for refresh- ments, gift bags, and door prizes. A festival of dedication will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23,to be fol- lowed by a reception. Schedule school physicals now- It's time to schedule school physicals for all children starting kindergarten and 7th grade. Phys- icals are necessary before partici- pating in any high school activities ahd every two-three years after. Physicals and immunizations may be required before the next school year begins. Students need to bring a com- pleted and signed athletic 2009- 2010 Minnesota High School League form. The forms are avail- able at any CentraCare Clinic site or online at <www.centracare. corn>. Glasses are necessary if the student needs an eye exam. Com- fortable attire is suggested for the appointment. Old Time and Old Friends Reunion Kimball will hold its 21st annual Old Time and Old Friends Reunion Saturday, July 25, at Wil- low Creek Park. It will be at 10 a.m. with the plan to eat at noon. Please let friends know. Bring a hot dish or a dessert. Anyone and everyone is welcome. Patients should bring along any shot records and school forms to the visit. A parent or guardian must accompany children to the appointment if they will receive any shots. Appointments can be requested online at <>, or by calling your clinic. Senior dining to 'Celebrate America' The Kimball Senior Dining is atmosphere with friendship and fun for persons 60 years of age and over. Join us! Call 398-2211, ext. 13 for more information. Thursday-Celebration of Nations-America: Hot dog on a bun, potato salad, baked beans, patriotic gelatin cake. Friday: Country fried steak, whipped potatoes w/gra, sum- mer salad, wheat bread, ice cream gelatin. holding a special "Celebrate Amer- ica" beginning at 11:15 Thurs- day, July 23, at St. Anne's Church in Kimball. The events of the day include early coffee and treats and baseball trivia. The following spe- cial menu will be served: Hot dog on bun, potato salad, baked beans, and patriotic gelatin cake. Senior dining offers a nutri- tious meal in a warm and caring 1% milk is Served with every meal. Menu is subject to change. Suggested contribution for per- sons 60+ and volunteers is $3.25, or what you can afford. Guests under 60 pay $6.50. REMINDER: When there is a choice of entree on the menu, you will receive the first one listed UNLESS you notify us. The cof- fee pot is on by 11:15 a.m. every Wednesday.
