Stearns Extension office relocated July 30-Aug. 4 for County Fair The Steams County Extension office located in St. Cloud will be on the move for the week of the 2013 Steams County Fair. The office will temporarily be relocating to the Stearns County Fairgrounds in Sauk Centre from Tuesday, July 30, through Sunday, Aug. 4. Normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday will retum on Monday Aug. 5, in the St. Cloud office located in the Mid- town Square Office Building at 3400 1st St North, Suite 103, St. Cloud, MN 56303. The Stearns County Exten- sion Office helps people access research-based knowledge from the University of Minnesota in areas such as agriculture, horti- culture, youth development/4-H, community nutrition and food safety. The local office also offers unique services such as soil test- ing for your garden, lawn and field; or the testing of pressure canner gauges in preparation for the can- ning season. Tractor accident with injury Monday, July 22, the Meeker County Sheriff's Office andWatldns Ambulance responded to 33479 675 Avenue, Watkins, for a one- vehicle (tractor) personal injury accident. David Kuechle, 64 years old, from rural Watkins, was driv- ing a Kubota L2550 4-wheel drive tractor with a front-end loader and a brush mower on the back. Kuechle was mowing the ditches near his residence when he got too far on the incline of the ditch caus- ing the loader to roll two times. One of the times the loader rolled, Kuechle was struck by the rear tire. David Kuechle was taken by Wat- kins Ambulance to the St. Cloud Hospital.
