Thank You Volunteers The Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Festival depends on volunteers to serve your needs and fill more than 500 time slots to keep this festival operating smoothly. Prior to the festival, the volunteer MBOTMA Festival Staff does the planning and preparatory work. During the festival volunteers take tickets, sell shirts, watch the gates, provide handicap services, set up the grounds, and clean up after- wards. So while you're at the festival, please treat them nicely and tell them "thank you for volunteer- ing". For their efforts they receive a specially designed volunteer shirt, and they make new friends, learn new skills, and have fun too! If you're interested in helping out at this or future festivals, stop by the Festival Headquarters and check out the volunteer schedule for openings. Or leave your name and address and we will contact you ahead of time next year to sign you up. Enjoy the Festival! Sending A Message Will you be coming to the festival and trying to find someone else that is already there? Or will others be coming later and looking for you? With a little forethought you will be able to find each other and have a great time together. There will be a large message board just outside the Gathering Place where you can leave messages for others to find or look for messages that have been left for you. There will also be a large map of the grounds so you can show where you are camping along with your message. There are also detailed maps of the grounds available for download on the MBOTMA website at www.MinnesotaBlueg rass.org. The same maps will be printed in the program that everyone receives when they enter. These maps fea- ture place names, road names, and a grid system so you can communi- cate camp of jam locations to other folks before or after you get there (they even have GPS coordinates). And many of the roads on the grounds now have signposts and large maps with "you are here" markings are displayed in various locations to help you find your way. ao,D SpN, MG O-OP FOR ALL YOUR PET FOOD NEEDS FROM YOUR FINE FEATHERED FRIENDS.., (Sunflower Seed, Suet.
