'Adopt-A-Pot' winners The Kimball Area Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the "Adopt-A-Pot" contest Friday, Aug 12, at the Little Miss Kimball Coronation. They are as follows: • First place went to loann Hen- dricks • Second place went to Pauline Noggle • Third place went to Kimball FFA The pots were judged by a mas- ter gardener from St. Cloud Mon- day, Aug. 8. Thank you to everyone for car- ing for your pot(s) to help beautify the city of Kimball. Kimball Days parade winners announced Sunday, Aug. 14, the Kimball Days parade began at St. Anne's Catholic Church parking lot at 2 p.m., and finished at Arnold's Implement outlot. There were 14 randomly cho- sen judges who made the contest a success and the city of Kimball thanks them. • First place went to Kim-built Propane • Second place went to Doug Dingmann • Third place went to Kuechle Underground The contest winners will have their entrance fee waived for the 2012 parade. First place winner received a plaque and will be the first parade float in the 2012 parade. Kimball Days contest winners The following events are listed with the winners.
