Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at St. John Lutheran Church, 13045 Fremont St., Zimmerman. Visitation was one hour prior to the service. Visitation was also 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St. NW, Elk River. Ted is survived by his wife of 42 years Joyce; three much-loved pets Squeek, Sandy, and Benny; one sister Lorraine; three broth- ers Gene (and Theresa), Lloyd (and Carol), and Bill (and Brenda); nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. ON Hwv 15) 320-25t-4533 George Nothnagel, 94 George Nothnagel died at his Buffalo home Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, surrounded by the love and care of his family. He was 94. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as Celebrant. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and again from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Annandale. George Sylvester Nothnagel was born Oct. 7, 1921, in Kimball to George and Angeline (Creteier) Nothnagel. George grew up and attended school in Kimball. George was united in marriage to Patricia Dearing May 1, 1951, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale. He worked in Crosby and Hibbing before moving his family to Maple Lake in 1961. George worked as a groundman for Wright-Hennepin for 20 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a jack-of-all-trades, helping all of his children finish their homes. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards. George was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey; par- ents George and Angeline; broth- ers Gus, Jack, Andy, Clarence, Leonard, and Ervin Nothnagel; an infant brother, and sisters Helen Loch,-Theresa Janisch, and Mary Leudders. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pat of Buffalo; children Dennis Nothnagel of Coon Rapids, Patricia (and Dale) Nygaard of Howard Lake, and Tim (and Marilee) Nothnagel of Owatonna; daughter-in-law Susan Nothnagel of Buffalo; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Angeline Eisenreich of Crosby, and Delores Spaude of St. Cloud; and many other family members and friends. Tornado relief grants available There is tornado relief money available to anyone in Watkins who needs help after the recent tornado. Applications are avail- able in the back of the St. Anthony Church, at city hall, at Farmers State Bank of Watkins, and on the St. Anthony Church's website. The money used for relief is donated in part by Catholic Charities and through second col- lections throughout the New Ulm Diocese. You need not be a parish- ioner of the Church of St. Anthony or Catholic to receive help. Please feel free to give applications to anyone that might need them. Applications will be accepted until Thursday. Aug. 25. Urn bearers were Courtney, Jeremy and Tyler Nothnagel, Stacy and April Nygaard, Kelsey Schoen, Kara Becker, Jenny Carlson, and Sara Stemper. Arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Maple Lake. Carol Lenzmeier, 81 Carol Lenzmeier died Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at her Pearl Lake home. She was 81. Kimball Tim Ellis, Owner Faith Formation registrations Registration forms for the Faith Formation programs of the Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley and the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins have been mailed out to all registered families. If you have not received your registration forms or would like to register as a member of either par- ish and enroll your child(ren) in a Faith Formation program, please contact the Assumption Parish office at (320) 453-2788 or the St. Anthony Parish office at (320) 764-2755. Formal faith formation classes for the youth start with the first grade and run through the 10th grade. Registration forms and pay- ments can be mailed back, brought to any of the offices, or can be dropped off at the Eden Valley Elementary School during open house.
