As of July 31, 2010, Lisa Carlson is officially the new postmaster in Kimball. Lisa grew up between Cokato and Dassel. She now lives in Das- sel with her three children. Lisa was postmaster in Win- stead for about six years. She then spent about two years as OIC (offi- cer in charge) at Howard Lake and then Dassel. Patty Nelson, who had been OIC since Scott Lindemann's retirement, is now working in the Winsted Post Office. "People in Kimball are really friendly," Lisa said. The donated funds will be used to help purchase a blocking sled and other equipment to be used by the pro- gram. The KAHS football program would like to thank the Kimball Legion and other organizations for their support.
