Cathy Wuertz and Bruce Kiehn were also pres- ent. Members absent: Shelley Kern, Bob Stenger. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Sarah Kuechle. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. The agenda was approved on a motion by Julie Meyer and sec- onded by Rob Flaschenriem. Motion carried unanimously. Aug. 27, Linda Sue Gipson, 52 of Annandale was arrested in Stearns County on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County. Aug. 27, Jordan Tyndale Vaughan, 24 of Annandale, was arrested in Albion Township on the charges of domestic assault and domestic assault by strangulation. Aug. 28, Bruce Leroy Hansen, 45 of Clearwater, was arrested in Silver Creek Township on the charges of domestic assault by strangulation and interference with a 911 call. Meeker County Sheriff's Office Sunday, Sept. 2, 2013 11:37 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a dog complaint at a res- idence on 4th Street North in Watkins. The dog was secured and a message was left for the owner to contact the Sheriff's Office. 11:53 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a vehi- cle theft at a residence on 280th Street, Kingston Township. 2:19 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a theft of lights from a dock from a residence on 748th Avenue, Kingston Township. 3:15 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched the Watkins Ambu- lance for a medical at the Hilltop Health Care Center. One partywas taken to Buffalo Hospital. 4:59 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a threats complaint from a residence on 602nd Avenue, Manannah Township. 6:33 p.m. the Sheriffs Office responded to and dispatched Das- sel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambu- lance to a medical at a residence on 318th Street, Kingston Town- ship. One individual was treated on scene and was transported to the St. Cloud Hosp. by a private vehicle. Sunday. Sept. 1 11:50 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on 367th Street, For- est Prairie Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the owner of trailer was advised to move the trailer off of the roadway. 3:24 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Lynden Avenue East, Kimball. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital. Saturday. One individual was transported to St. Cloud Hospital. 3:23 a.m. the Sheriffs Office dispatched Eden Valley Res- cue Squad, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, for a medical at a residence on MN High- way 22, Eden Lake Township. One individual was assisted at the scene. 10:07 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a dog complaint at a residence on Cedar Avenue North, Watkins. The dep- uty was able to locate the dog and it was secured at the residence. 1:55 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a property damage accident at Ugly Tom's Valley Quick Stop on Meeker Ave- nue West, Eden Valley. 6:11 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched weather spotters, per the National Weather Ser- vice, which advised that Meeker County was in a Severe Thun- derstorm Warning. Reports were received of heavy rain in the entire county as well as minor damage to one of the CP Railroad crossing arms on State Street North, City of Eden Valley. CP Railroad was con- tacted and repairs were made, and there were no further issues. Friday, Aug. 30 12:41 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at Hilltop Health Care Center on Luella Street in Watkins. One individual was transported to Buffalo Hospital in Wright County. 12:43 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to an alarm at Manhat- tan Toy on Park Avenue East, Eden Valley. The deputy was cancelled before arrival. 3:14 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched the Watkins Ambu- lance for a medical at the Hilltop Healthcare Center, Watkins. One party was taken to St. Cloud Hos- pital. 3:29 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a driving complaint on 617th Avenue, Manannah Town- ship. The party requested extra patrol in the area. 3:45 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a trespassing report on 365th Street, Forest Prairie Township. meeting. • The Board reviewed elemen- tary school goals 2013-14 and will be on next meeting's agenda for approval. • The Board reviewed second- ary goals 2013-14 with discus- sion led by Secondary Principal Bruce Kiehn. The Board approved the 2013-14 EVW Secondary School Goals on a motion by Rob Flaschenriem and seconded by Jeremy Willner. Motion carried unanimously. • The Board looked at the two previous year's school district goals with discussion for new school district goals. Suggestions for goals were: strategic planning, healthy and safe learning envi- ronment, social media implemen- tation, fiscal responsibility, pro- fessional development and man- agement; identify at-risk learn- ers in reading & math and create improvements. Superintendent Mark Messman will present goals at the August 26 meeting. • The Board reviewed the 2013- 14 Back-To-School Workshop Schedule. • The Board approved the annual Fee Schedule for 2013-14 on a motion by Shelley Kern and seconded by Rob Flaschenriem. Motion carried unanimously. • The following board commit- tee reports were given: Sunshine Committee report wasgiven by Sarah Kuechle; 5:37 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a cabin burglary on Lake Francis, 748th Avenue, Kingston Township. 8:14 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to assist a resident on Lake Francis, 748th Avenue, Kings- ton Township. 8:25 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a possible order for protection violation at a residence on 367th Street, North Kingston Township. 9:43 p.m. the Sheriff's Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call to the Wright County Sheriff's Office for a report of a one-vehicle roll- over in the area of County Road 2 and 46th Street Northwest, French Lake Township. 11:09 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Central Avenue South in Watkins. One individual was treated at the scene. Thursday, Aug. 29 12:50 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of suspi- cious activity near Hilltop Care Center, Luella Street, Watkins. 11:47 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a civil issue at a residence on 730th Avenue, Kings- ton Township. The deputy advised the individual of their options. 6:21 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to assist the Eden Valley Police Department with a report of a property damage accident in the area of State Street North and McCarthy Avenue, City of Eden Valley. The Eden Valley Res- cue Squad was later dispatched, per the request of the Eden Valley Police Department, for a possible medical with the driver. Wednesday. Aug. 28 7:36 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of check forgery at Jack's BP on Service Road North in Watkins. 1:06 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a civil issue at a residence on 375th Street, Manannah Township. The dep- uty advised the individual of their options. Tuesday, Aug. 27 6:40 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on County / Road 48, Eden Lake Township in Stearns County. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital. 9:13 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and took a report of a theft at a residence on MN High- way 55, Manannah Township. 9:14 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and took a report of an animal complaint at a resi- dence on MN Highway 24, Kings- ton Township. 12:26 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a report of suicide threats at a residence on Central Ave. So., Watkins. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for evaluation. 3:31 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of criminal dam- age to property at a residence on 748th Avenue, Kingston Township. 6:09 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of harass- ment at an address on Meeker/ Stearns Street, Watkins. The dep- uty made contact and advised of options. Monday. Aug. 26 4:01 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of suspi- cious activity at a residence on Meeker Stearns Street, Forest Prai- rie Township. The deputy advised the individual of their options. 4:56 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took information of suspicious activity at a residence on Western Avenue North, Watkins. 6:23 p.m. while on patrol a dep- uty came across two dogs stand- ing on MN Highway 55, Manan- nah Township. The deputy was able to coax the dogs back to the residence where they belong.
