Because Our Kids Matter.! Kimball Area Schools Operating Levy Referendum Nov. 2nd Vote . 00Yes 0000'Yes This fall, the Independent District #739 (the Kimball School District) will be asked to approve two levy questions. #1 will replace the operating money that will go ........... away when the current levy expires at the end of this school year. Adding question #2 will bring additional funding to our schools, allowing them to pay for much-needed maintenance that has had to be postponed (like replacing the elementary gym floor), to replace obsolete technology and curriculum, and to expand programs as funds allow. Don't our students DESERVE better than just getting by? We believe they do. And that's why a group of concerned citizens is making sure people know the dilemma we're in. With our current levy expiring at the end of this school year, it is IMPERATIVE that at least question #1 pass, just to replace it. We believe our students deserve the moneys that question #2 will bring. (Voters must approve BOTH questions #1 and #2 in order for the Kimball Schools to receive the needed funding to make up for losses and to augment what we've got. On November 2, we urge you to vote "Yes, Yes" - voting for both questions.
