I am very excited to work with such great potential." B-B-E Meet The Cross Countryteam taveled to Brooten Thursday, Sept. 9, to compete in the B-B-E Invita- tional meet. There were 14 teams taking part in the meet on this By Terry Nelson The Cross Country team travel competed at the Maple Lake Invita- tional meet Thursday Sept. 2. Four- teen schools attended the meet. The girls' varsity placed sev- enth with a score of 170. The indi- vidual varsity runners with place and time were Molly Hesse 12th- !8:23, Raelynn Callander 16th- 18:33, ' Samantha i Stuve 43rd- 20:53, Jennifer Notch 49th-21:10, Kayla Overland 50th-21:13 and Megan Libbesmeier 63rd-24:25. The girls' junior varsity took second place with a team score of 111. The Individual IV runners were Erin Dingmann 13th-23:09, Nicole Orth 18th-23:35, McKen- zie Lihbesmeier 25th-27:48, Jan- essa Dahle 27th-28:50 and Brooke Merten 28th-28:5Z Brett Mattice took 10th place with a time of 10:01 in the junior cool, windy and rainy day. The girls' varsity runners with place and time were Molly Hesse 22nd-17:07, Raelynn Callander 26th-17:23, Renee Berg 36th-17:56, Samantha Stuve 53rd-19:20 Jenni- fer Notch 57th-19:52, Kelsey Lib- besmeier 60th-21:09 and Olivia Fischer 64th-23:36. Brett Mattice placed 22nd in the boys' junior varsity race with a time of 21:16. The girls' junior varsity team took fourth place with a score of Thursday, September 16, 2010 Tri-Coun 143. The individual runners were Kayla Overland 15th-19:41, Erin Dingmann 25th-21:25, Nicole Orth 32nd-22:37, Megan Libbes- meier 34th-22:18 McKenzie Lib- besmeier 37th-23:40, Jaren Thell 8th-23:52 and Brooke Merten 40th-25:08. The junior high girls' runners were Brooke Winter 3rd-11:55, Denzel Atherton 12th-12:54, Lau- ren Libbesmeier 14th-12:58, Madi- son Libbesmeier 18th-13:09 Grace Kopitzke 23rd-13:44, Stepha- nea Roeser 25th-13:48 and Maria Roeser 31st-14:07. Coach Holly Hansen said "We got to run in the rain again, but I am not complaining, at least this year I haven't had to worry about heat-related issues. Last year we had lots of heat cramps."
