Death Notice Ann Rykken Ann Rykken, 80, died Friday, September 27, 1991, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Services were held Wednes- day at 2 p.m. following reviewal from 12 - 2 at Green Lake Lutheran Church in Spicer. Full obituary next week. Obituary Patricia McLean In loving memory of Patricia (Rutherford) McLean of Longville, MN, born Dec. 2, 1910. She passed away Sept. 25, 1991 at the Brainerd Hospital. She married Harold 0-laddie) McLean in August, 1950. Sur- vivors include her husband, one brother and one sister. Memorial services were held Saturday, Sept. 28 at the North- land Funeral Home chapel in Pine River, MN. Clergy was Father Edward Foster. The trick is to learn how to use the rotary cut- ter and sewing machines to speed up the work. Participants that have their own portable ma- chine should plan to bring it with them. Each participant will need the following supplies: 5 yards of black 100% cotton ma- terial 45" wide. 1 yard of four different colors 45" 100% cotton material (earth colors are sug- gested) 1 1/8 yard of one of the above four colors and 1 3/4 yards of one of the above four colors, but a different color than the 1 1/8 color. All material must be washed and dried prior to class. You will also need to have a rotary cutter and mat and a 6" clear ruler. All classes will take place in room 204 of Kim- ball Area High School. On Sat- urday, November 9, the class will meet from 9-3 p.m. Participants should bring a bag lunch. Monday, November I I the class will meet from 6-9 p.m. The cost of this class is $18.00. This class will oudine the basic steps in starting a small business. Discussion topics in- clude: How to obtain financing, choosing the best legal form, the business, plan, and major cause of failure. Take the first step - it might change your whole life. This class will meet in room 210 of the Kimball Area High School room 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15. The cost of this class is $12.00 and the deadline to register is October 7.
