Thursday, October 6, 2011 Do O Tri-Coun Burglaries, fires, acddents, police blotters Maple Lake T'ship burglary deputies arrived, a large barn on Monday, Oct. 3, at 1:58 a.m., a the property was fully engulfed. Grindeland was booked into Wright County Jail on charges of fourth-degree burglary and fleeing a police officer on foot. Fatal motorcycle v. deer accident Wednesday, Sept. 28, at about 8 p.m. Stearns County Sheriff's Office received a report of a crash. A 1994 Harley Davidson motorcy- cle, driven by David Behrend, 49, of Sauk Rapids, had been travel- ling northbound on CR 155 in Avon Township, when it struck a deer. I~avid was taken to St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambu- lance. David's passenger, Laura Ten- voorde-Behrend, age 47, was dead at the scene. Neither party was wear- ing a helmet at the time of the crash. The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Avon Police and Fire Departments, as well as the MN State Patrol. Dairy barn fire, most cows perished Friday, Sept. 30, Stearns County Deputies were sent to a barn fire located at 28714 363rd Ave in Spring Hill Township. When total loss. The total loss to the farm remains unknown, but its value will be greater than $100,000 in damages. Several fire departments assisted in putting out the fire. Lake Henry, Elrosa, and Belgrade Fire departments all assisted at the scene, as well as Melrose Ambulance. Wright County Sheriff's Office Sept. 27, Timothy Carl Weber, 37, of Annandale was arrested in Annandale on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County. Sept. 28, Daniel Joseph Sheridan, 26, of Annandale was charged with gross misdemeanor malicious pun- ishment of a child. Sept. 28, 2011, Jacqueline Jean- Nelson, 49, of South Haven was charged with felony ineligible voter. There -were 8 property-damage accidents, 3 personal-injury acci- dents, 3 hit-and-run accidents, and 2 car-deer accidents. There were 5 arrests for DWI, 3 underage-consumption arrests, and 80 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week. Meeker County Sheriff's Office Sunday. Oct. 2 1:09 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Eden Valley Rescue and Wat- kins Ambulance, per the request of Stearns County Sheriff, for a medical at a residence on Eden View Court, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital. 10:56 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of criminal damage to property on 695th Avenue, Kimball. 12:17 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambu- lance for a personal injury acci- dent on 360th Street, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital. 3:45 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and .dispatched Wat- kins Ambulance for a medical on Meeker Avenue South, Watkins. Upon arrival of the deputy it was determined that the individual was deceased. The Meeker County Cor- oner was dispatched to the scene. 8:44 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a possible violation of a harassment order occurring at a resi- dence on 677th Avenue, Watkins. Saturday. Oct. 1 12:02 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of juvenile trouble at a residence on Meeker Avenue South, Watkins. The deputy located the juveniles and all were given a warning and escorted home. 12:22 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a suicide attempt at a residence on 298th Street, South Haven. One person was trans- ported to Woodland Centers in Will- mar and a report was filed. Friday, Sept. 30 6:29 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a request to check the welfare of an individual at an address on Central Avenue North, Watkins. Upon arrival, one adult female was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital for an evalua- tion. . 12:47 p.m. the Sheriff's Office per the request of Stearns County, dis- patched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at an address on East Spruce Street, Kimball. One individual was transported to St. Cloud Hospital. 7:41 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a car/deer accident on MN Highway 15 and 278th Street, Dassel. No injuries were reported. 8:13 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue to a medical on Vails Lake Road, Stearns County. A short time later Watkins Ambu- lance and Eden Valley rescue were cancelled, a private party was tak- ing the individual to hospital. Thursday, Sept. 29 3:59 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a two-vehicle property damage accident at an address on Service Road North, Watkins. No injuries were reported. 4:02 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted the ACGC High School, Grove City, with a canine search. 4:51 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of threats from an individ- ual at an address on 340th Street, Watkins. 7:58 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received information regarding juvenile trouble at an address on 1st Street, Watkins. 8:50 p.m. the Sheriffs Office observed toilet papering at a resi- dence near 3rd Street North and Cen- tennial Avenue, Dassel. The dep- uty made contact with two juveniles who were vandalizing a residence. The deputy had the juveniles clean up the mess and the homeowner was advised and okay with the outcome. Wednesday. Sept. 28 8:26 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at an address on State Street South, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital. 11:50 a.m. the Sheriff's Office picked up a bike that was found in the Watkins Trailer Park. 12:14 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a civil issue at an address on MN Highway 24, Kimball. A deputy made contact and advised the party of their options. 5:43 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a dog complaint at an address in the Watkins Trailer Park. 10:23 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a driving complaint near State Street North and Cen- tralAvenue East, Eden Valley. Upon arrival of the deputies, the parties were warned of the complaint. Tuesday, Sept. 27 12:28 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted the MN St Patrol with traf- fic control in the area of 370th Street and MN Highway 22, Eden Valley, while a farm trailer was removed from the highway. 3:16 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a vehicle tampering at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins. 3:33 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a business on Meeker Avenue East, Eden Valley.
