Thursday, November 10,2011 L :b&00le Tri-Coun News • Kimball, MN wua  ,VLL LLLI.ILLLL Local po_ lice blotters Burglary in Eden Lake Township Monday morning, Nov. 7, the Stearns County Sheriff's Office investigated a burglary that took place in Eden Lake Township. The burglary occurred in the area of Highway 22 and County Road 34. The homeowner was home when an unidentified man entered the house through a back door. The home- owner confronted the burglar and he fled before anything was taken. Before the-man entered, the door- bell rang twice but wasn't answered. The burglar was described as 30-35 years old, 6 feet one inch to 6 feet 3 inches in height, skinny with a shaved head. The burglar was pos- sibly driving an older grey hatch- back car that was very dirty. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating the case and is looking for anybody who might have seen the man or the car. Wright County Sheriff's Office Oct. 31, Scott Shannon John, 31 of Clearwater, was charged with felony third-degree assault. Nov. 1, Rhonda Karen Williams, 48 of Clearwater, was arrested in Stearns County on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County. Nov. 3, Duane Allen Rose, 33 of Clearwater, was arrested in Clear- water on the charge of third-degree DWI. Nov. 3, Samuel James Norlie, 25 of Maple Lake, was arrested Silver Creek Township for third-degree DWI. Nov. 4, Hattelene Renee Mar- tinson, 18 of Howard Lake, was arrested in Howard Lake for fifth- degree controlled substance. Nov. 5, Jaymis Wayne Richards, 26 of Mantorville, was arrested in Maple Lake on a Fillmore County warrant for predatory offender reg- istration violation. There were 6 property-damage accidents, 2 personal-injury acci- dents, 5 hit-and:run accidents, and 7 car-deer accidents. There were 4 arrests for DWI, no underage-consumption arrests, and 65 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week. Meeker County Sheriff's Office Sunday, Nov.. 6 1:04 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a noise com- plaint at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins. The deputy checked the residence and issued a citation. 5:58 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Watkins Ambulance for a medical on Kramer Road, Watkins. One individual was transported to St. Cloud Hospital. 7:44 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of County State Aid Highway 17, Watkins. The dep- uty determined that the vehicle had mechanical issues, was off the road- way and not a hazard. 7:54 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of criminal damage to prop- erty on County State Aid Highway 3, Eden Valley. 12:57 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report for a theft in the area of County State Aid Highway 34, Litch- field. 6:03 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a car/deer accident on MN Highway 22 and 205th Street, Litchfield. The caller and their information were trans- ferred to the MN State Patrol. " 7:12 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Das- sel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambu- lance for a medical on MN Highway 15, Dassel. One individual was trans- ported to Meeker Memorial Hospital. 8:43 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of harassment at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins. 11:37 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a noise com- plaint at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins. The deputy made contact with the resident who was warned of the complaint. Saturday, Nov. 5 8:23 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Watkins Ambulance, per Stearns County for a medical on Sun- rise Drive, Kimball. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital. 2:05 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to an alarm on Meeker Avenue, Eden Valley. A deputy found the building secure. 8:44 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Das- sel Fire Department for structure fire at a residence on County State Aid Highway 6, Dassel. The Dassel Fire Department, with the assistance of the Cokato Fire Department, extin- guished the fire and the structure was a total loss. 9:33 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a car/deer accident in the area of 195th Street and MN High- way 15, Dassel. There were no injuries and the deputy assisted in issuing a deer possession tag. 9:57 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of suspicious activity in the area of 708th Avenue and 190th Street, Dassel. The deputy made contact with two individuals and found all to be okay. Information was also forwarded to the MN DNR. Friday, Nov. 4 10:12 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of possible child abuse/mal- treatment at an address on 380th Street, Watkins. 1:35 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department with a report of a domes- tic on Brooks Street South, Eden Val- ley. The deputy advised the com- plaint was unfounded. 3:16 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting unsafe conditions on MN Highway 15, Kimball. The information was transferred to the MN State Patrol. 7:21 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a car/deer accident in the area of County State Aid Hwy 12 and 630th Avenue, Hutchinson. The deputy made contact and there were no inju- ries. A deer possession tag was issued. 9:44 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received information regarding a theft occurring on North Armstrong Avenue, Litchfield. Thursday, Nov. 3 9:11 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a car/deer acci- dent on MN Highway 22 near 373rd Street, Eden Valley. There were no injuries and the caller was trans- ferred to the MN State Patrol. Wednesday, Nov. 2 11:34 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a stalled vehicle on Meeker Avenue North, Watkins. The deputy located the vehi- cle and everything was okay. Tuesday, Nov. 1 4:41 a.m. a Sheriff's Deputy observed a stalled vehicle on MN HENDRICKSO Page 9 Highway 24, Wat kins. A deputy deter- mined that the vehicle was not a road hazard. 5:45 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Watkins Ambulance for a medical on Luella Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital. 2:52 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a dog complaint at a res- idence on 592nd Avenue, Eden Valley. The deputy advised the party of their options. 6:40 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a possible scare attempt at a residence on 330th Street, Watkins. Monday, Oct. 31 12:49 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a vehicle parked alongside of MN Hwy 15 near 185th Street, Dassel. Upon arrival, the deputy determined the vehicle was not a hazard and everything was okay. 1:40 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of suspicious activity at a resi- dence on 725th Avenue, Kimball. 11:45 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dis- patched Gold Cross Ambulance and Dassel Rescue to a medical at a resi- dence on 309th Street, South Haven. There was no transport. 4:17 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a driving complaint north bound on MN Highway 15 and County State Aid Highway 4, Dassel.
