Christmas greetings to our armed forces The Kimball American Legion Auxiliary is getting ready to send Christmas greetings to our men and women who are in the armed forces of our country. Please deposit their current address in the "Little Red Box" in the Kimball Post Office. Deadline is Dec. 5, 2009. Thank you for your help. Anita Hoefer, Comm. Tuesday-Euchre, registration deadline for Christmas dinner: Roast beef, whipped potatoes w/ gravy, carrots, wheat bread, choc- olate chip cookie. Wednesday-Birthday Cake; Education: "Know your medica- tion;" fall prevention: Shepherd's pie, crunchy romaine salad, wheat bread, pumpkin bar. Thursday: Brown sugar pork chop, sour cream & herb-whipped potatoes, broccoli Normandy, din- ner roll, applesauce. Friday-Bingo: Chicken chow mein, rice, Oriental vegeta- bles, Mandarin oranges, fortune cookie. K mball schools Menu Dec. 7-11 Breakfast Monday: Cereal choice, slice of toast, fruit choice, milk. Tuesday: Scrambled eggs & cheese, slice of toast, juice choice, milk. Wednesday: Pancake, sausage patty, juice choice, milk. Thursday: French toast, ham slice, fruit choice, milk. Friday: Sausage gravy over bis- cuit, fruit choice, milk. Lunch Monday: Salisbury steak or tur- key on wheat, mashed potatoes/ gravy, sliced wheat bread, canta- loupe wedge, milk. 1% milk is served with every meal. Menu is subject to change. Suggested contribution for per- sons 60+ and volunteers is $3.25, or what you can afford. Guests under 60 pay $6.50. REMINDER: When there is a choice of entree on the menu, you will receive the first one listed UNLESS you notify us. The cof- fee pot is on by 11:15 a.m. every Wednesday.
