Cards qf Thanks Thank you to "Santa" for bring- ing me the "Twelve Days of Christ- mas." I was so surprised, it brought tears of joy to my eyes! Shirley Zipoy Holiday Train 'thank you' A special thank you goes to everybody who was involved in the Holiday Train Monday evening, Dec. 13. Thanks to the committee members Cindy and Jim Unter- berger, Leslie Arnold, Nicole Pila- rski, and Maria Donnay. Thanks to the 4-H for serving hot choco- late and cookies, Glen Winter and Steve Gohman for allowing park- 'ing on their lot, and Joanne Hen- dricks and the bus service for the bussing back and forth. A huge "thank you" to the Kim- ball Police and the Kimball Area Fire Department for directing traf- tic. Without you, this event would not be possible. Thanks to Mark Renn from MnDOT for all the help in closing the roads, Canadian Pacific for stopping in our com- munity and their generous dona- tion to the food shelf. I am so proud of our Kimball Elementary and Kimball Area High School students for the food shelf drive, the National Honor Society, and those students made me so proud of our community. Thanks again! Tammy Konz Kimball Area Theft at Powder Fire Dept. seeks Ridge Tuesday, Nov. 16, the Stearns County Sheriff's Office took a report of a stolen piece of snowboard equipment from the Powder Ridge Ski Resort. Taken was a 27-foot- long top snowboard rail. The first 24 feet is flat and the last three feet slope down. The top is constructed of one and one-half-inch steel tub- ing, rolled on the ends and painted black and has a flat surface of clear poly plastic. The sides are con- structed of five-eighth-inch ply- wood painted blue. There are also two slots on the sides for lifting with a fork lift. It is unknown the exact date that the rail was taken.
