Kimball Kruisers 4-1-1 Decorating Contest has winners Winners among Kimball busi- nesses have been named for the Kimball Christmas Decorating Contest. The Kimball Kruisers 4-H delivered a cookie basket and the traveling trophy of a star for first place to Heritage House. The 4-H group put together cookie baskets that they delivered to the first-, second-, and third- place winners. Second place went to Diva's, and third place went to A M Maus & Son. Heritage House of Kimball won first place in the decorating con- test sponsored by the Kimball Kruisers 4-H Club. The photo shows the 4-H club presenting Heritage House with the traveling trophy, a star, and a cookie basket the club members put together. - Page 7 Kimball Kruisers 4-H Club delivered a cookie basket they put to- gether for Diva's as a second-place prize in the decorating contest. Band concert The Kimball Area High School Fine Arts Dept. held a choir and band concert and an art show last Monday evening, Dec. 13. Following the concert and art show, the Canadian Pacific Holi- day Train stopped in Kimball for a 45-minute concert performed on one of the rail cars. Band president, Jenna Maus and secretary, Abby ,Konz gave Mr. Haake one of his Christmas pres- ents from the band seniors. They decorated a conductor's baton for him because his baton need- ed to be "spiced up." Submitted A M Maus & Son won third place in the Decorating Kimball Con- test. The Kimball Kruisers 4-H Club put together and presented a basket of cookies to them. Andy Maus, owner of the business is in back of the club members.
